I’ve been waiting for years for the 1986 horror comedy NIGHT OF THE CREEPS, to finally come on DVD. The film stars Jason Livley as a college student who is in the middle of an Alien invasion, where alien worms invade people’s craniums and hatch eggs inside. It’s up to him, his girlfriend and a wise cracking cop played brillantly by Tom Atkins to stop them. This is probably my favorite horror film of all time, and it’s getting a great treatment by Anchor Bay. The release date is October 9th of this year, I can’t wait.

Just when you thought films couldn’t be as bad as they could, I mean after the script disaster that is the sequel to the TRANSFORMERS movie wasn’t bad I have some news. Just when Hollywood ran out of ideas and decided to make feature films out of toys(Transformers, G.I. Joe), it gets worse. According to darkhorizons.com, the next feature film they are going to make is from the aracade and ATARI video game ASTEROIDS. Yes, ASTEROIDS. You remember that game one pixel shooting another pixel at a bigger pixel. Hey Hollywood! I’ll write you a script for any film, what’s next are you going to make a movie about paper clips. This really is the end isn’t it.
