Not a good week to be a celeb

Published by carl8447 under Uncategorized Edit This

Wow, after the icon of Ed McMahon passing away, the utter shock of Farrah Fawcett dying of cancer was sudden. However it has been in the news that she was infected with a lot of cancer so it wasn’t a complete shock. Of course I had to open my mouth and ask who would be the third one because in my experience deaths always happen in threes. SHOCKER! Michael Jackson passed away. A man with incredible talent and unfortuantely an exotic ways. And yesterday I found out Billy Mays died of a Cerebral Hemorage, Billy Mays is the guy who yells at you on the commercials.

What a bad week!

Yes Man

Published by carl8447 under Uncategorized Edit This

Jim Carrey in a film where he’s not a nut. Some people are turned off by his over the top antics(I like him the most when he’s over the top), this film is actually a small little romantic comedy where Carrey shines as a guy who’s life changes by saying “Yes” to everything. This film is genuinely a good rental and since it was made by Warner bros you get to see like every other WB film ever made on random tv’s and video stores. That to me was overkill. If you’re bored on a tuesday evening this is a great film to watch with your significant other. Also starring Bradley Cooper(THE HANGOVER) and Terrance Stamp.

They are remaking COMMANDO

Published by carl8447 under Uncategorized Edit This

According to Dark Horizons.com they are remaking the seriously stupid Arnold Schwarzanneger film COMMANDO. Supposedly they want to give the film a fresh take with a fresh face. Here is my question for Hollywood? Since when are you guys in the business or remaking BAD movies? That film is horrible acting, plot and story but the movie is funny as hell. COMMANDO is a “so bad it’s good” movie, with cheezy characters, unintelligent story line yet it has some great lines like: “You remember when I told you I would kill you last? I LIED.”

Hollywood has officially ran out of ideas, guys just hire some writers and they’ll come up with something new, you guys have no clue what you’re doing.

Midnight Meat Train

Published by carl8447 under Uncategorized Edit This

Here is a great flick. Thank goodness there is an actual horror movie, instead of dull oatmeal quality remake. The film involves Vinnie Jones as a mysterious stranger who rides a late night train and does diabolical things for mysterious reasons. This films uses a lot of digital effects to increase the gore and makes the film a gooey classic, check out this film at a midnight show or something because this film is worth the two hours.
