My condolences to the family of Ricardo Montalban. The versatile performer of countless television shows to feature films, died today, he was eighty-eight years old. We must remember the man who starred in Fantasy Island with classic Herve Villichase(“The plane boss! The plane!,) and great performances in STAR TREK, the television show and the hit feature film STAR TREK 2: THE WRATH OF KAHN(Who can forget the infamous face contortion of William Shatner saying “Kahn!”). Plus the hilarious turn as the villain in NAKED GUN, our hats are tipped to the family of legend.RIPThis just in: Patrick McGoogan is dead. The star of “THE PRISONER,” “ICE STATION ZEBRA,” “SILVER STREAK” and in the 1990’s “BRAVEHEART.” A powerful actor who usually played bad guys died of natural causes my condolences to his family too

SCREAM 2, the sequel does not disappoint, Again, the first couple of minutes jump right into the suspense and action and has two great cameos by Jada Pinkett Smith and Omar Epps (JUICE, HOUSE). The film as the same characters as the first Jamie Kennedy returns, Courtney Cox, L. Schreiber, David Arquette and of course Neve Campbell. Some new characters are played by great actors as well from Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jerry O’Connell, Laurie Metcalf and Timothy Olmyphant The film has some great twists a couple of beloved characters get killed and wounded seriously in this film. My only gripe with the film is I actually thought the film was a bit too violent, but as Jamie Kennedy’s character states “The death scenes are much more elaborate in a sequel.” However I had an issue with the ending, (MAJOR SPOLIER) the two killer thing again wasn’t working with me a second time and with the first reveal of the first killer I actually didn’t know who the character was at first because the character was so unpronounced to begin with I actually had no idea who it was. The second killer was more pronounced and the performer probably gave one of the best performances of their career. It’s a performance that still sticks with me as probably one of the best cameos ever put on film. The ending to this film was so secret that Neve Campbell was actually genuinely surprised when she found out who the killers were, because the last ten pages of the script were given at the day of shooting. A good sequel and a good flick check it out.
